Below is a selection of posters, ranging from freelance work to peer-critiqued exercises, from 20x30” display posters, to 5x7” pamphlets.
A large display poster done for the Scholars' Commons in IU's Herman B. Wells Library. This poster accompanied a dual-language traveling exhibit about the Braceros Program in the U.S. (1942-1964). 36x72".
A project focusing on designing long lists, in this case Brain Shopping: 40 Tips & Tricks for Getting Inspired by Ellen Lupton. 20x30".

A set of print materials for my friend's Halloween-themed wedding. She wanted to keep it a little playful while still being formal, and wanted to include some rustic, hand-drawn elements (drawn by me). From top-to-bottom, save-the-date, formal invitation, thank you card. 5x7", 7x5", 5x7".
The second poster in a series on working within extreme design constraints. Use of color was not permitted and only one font family was permitted, but use of different point sizes was permitted. 11x17".
A two-sided showcard for Dev Fisher's BFA Thesis show, inspired by vintage postcards and showcasing 3D renders from his work. 5.25x3.75".
An exercise on creating a visually-cohesive series of book covers for books not released as a series, in this case a collection of Jane Austen titles with the added challenge of varying title lengths. 6x8.5".
The third poster in a series on working within extreme design constraints. Only one font family was permitted, but colors and shapes were allowed. Use of photography was not allowed. 11x17".
A poster in a series of summer concert advertisements for a fictitious orchestra, the Basel Symphony Orchestra (BSO). Logo design for the BSO was also part of the exercise, and in this case was inspired by Basel's city symbol. 11x17".
This poster is part of an ongoing series of themed, community-organized film screenings at Vulture Video. 8.5x11".
Advertising an exhibit on author and illustrator Jaime/Xaime Hernandez, this poster was displayed in the Scholars' Commons area of IU's Herman B. Wells Library. 36x60".
