Cook Medical

In the summer of 2019, I worked as the Corporate Design Intern for the Visual Brand Content team at the Cook Medical headquarters in Bloomington, IN.

During my time there I worked on everything from medical case study pamphlets to festival attendee drop-bag cards, to global corporate presentation slides and modular social media templates. I also completed a capstone project creating the visual brand for a community partner, Play Today. You can see that project here.

Below you can see an overview of all of my Cook-branded projects at a glance, along with a few I’ve highlighted.

For this project, I created new social media templates for Cook CEO Pete Yonkman’s podcast, Lunch @ the Mill. The social media editor was looking for a couple of different styles of post in order to keep their feed not so monotonous. I created similar templates for Facebook and Twitter.

Cook has been a sponsor of Bloomington’s Limestone Comedy Festival for years, and while I was interning I got to collaborate with Cook photographers to design cards that would be placed in LCF attendee gift bags.

This two-sided informational flyer for Cook Animal Health included a case study, application instructions, and a full medical description. Needless to say, it was an exercise in maximizing available space.
